    Meiko UK has won unprecedented applause from the UK catering industry for its outstanding level of customer service.

    Hosted by online news and magazine Catering Insight, the awards reflect the opinion of catering equipment distributors from across the industry, including members of CEDA (The Catering Equipment Distributors Association) and catering equipment buying consortium ENSE.

    CEDA has five times awarded Meiko UK its Outstanding Customer Service Award – most recently in 2015 – a remarkable achievement unmatched by any other supplier.

    Also, in March 2015, Meiko UK won ENSE’s distributor award for outstanding performance by achieving 50% growth in dealer business.

    The quote from Catering Insight at the Awards ceremony said: "The winner has shown that after-sales service and spares back-up can be a true differentiator, currying favour with customers by offering a transparent and systematic approach to equipment maintenance."

    The 2015 Catering Insight Awards were held in London on December 9th 2015, with more than 200 senior executives from the UK catering equipment industry attending.

    Meiko was chosen from five shortlisted finalists, with the winner decided by a closed electronic vote that took place among senior executives ahead of the ceremony. To ensure transparency, only distributors could vote on supplier categories.

    Meiko UK was voted the winner for its service and support exclusively by the UK distributor industry.
